Our Story
Every story has a beginning. This is ours…
National Food & Literacy Foundation, Inc. is a faith-based non-profit organization committed to addressing critical issues related to Food and Nutritional Security and the efficacy of Literacy in our communities nationally. As a Foundation, we recognize the interconnectedness of these areas with overall wellness, productivity,
and meaningful contributions to society.
Its origin was born out of the need for community development on a national scale, which Faith-based organizations have successfully led. Faith-based organizations nationally do substantial social investing because they are brokers of trust within communities.
The Foundation is led by Ms. Gia Hopkins, President, and Mr. Joel Hopkins, Chief Financial Officer. Its services are available on a national level with headquarters at 2483 Heritage Village, Suite 16-232, Snellville, GA 30078.
Our mission is to empower individuals through improved access to quality food and enhanced literacy skills, fostering their mental, physical, and emotional health and supporting their journey to becoming productive citizens.
